用法不同。at the library和in the library的意思都可以翻譯做在圖書館。若只把圖書館看作一個地點，則用 at；若強調(diào)在圖書館里面，則用 in。

library的基本意思是“圖書館,藏書室 ”,也可指某圖書館或某人的“藏書”,還可指“收藏的錄音、唱片或影片等”。

library有時也可用在其他名詞前作定語。
