lie現(xiàn)在分詞是lying。lie的基礎(chǔ)含意就是指人“平躺著〔臥〕”,也可表達“(使)某物平放”。作“撒謊”解時,強調(diào)于好意或有意的目地說與客觀事實迥然矛盾的或壓根不會有的假話。

一、lie表示“撒謊”的意思時

1、可以用做名詞，表示謊言；假話

3、（某處）位于（某個位置或方向）

The islands lie at the southern end of the Kurile chain.
