as well as意思是“既……又……”、“此外”。其遵循的是就遠(yuǎn)原則，即謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞要與該結(jié)構(gòu)前面的主語(yǔ)保持一致。除了as well as還有but，besides，as much as，along with，in addition to等也要遵循就遠(yuǎn)原則。

當(dāng)as well as連接兩個(gè)成分作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，其后位于的單復(fù)數(shù)形式通常要與前面一個(gè)主語(yǔ)保持一致。

(1)The teacher as well as the students is friendly.

(2)Tom as well as his parents is going to London.

(3)The captain as well as the other player was tired.
